We started the adjectives by alphabets list in July last year. Here’s the first post in the series. We are now at the end of this series; the letter Z bring us:

Zany adds a whimsical feel to the description of a person or a thing. It is mostly used in informal writing.

Example sentences:

1. I enjoy the company of my zany friends, especially when we go watch a comedy movie together.
2. Although political cartoonists always show a zany side of the situation, they expose some fundamental truths about the situations.
3. It’s amazing how some zany ideas actually work in solving complex problems.
4. I am open to wearing zany costumes to the party, but please don’t ask me to go dressed as a zombie.
